FULL-TIME HAIRDRESSER Mombasa Day Spa & Hair Lounge Alice Springs, Northern Territory Mombasa Day Spa & Hair Lounge is an award-winning salon and spa located in the heart of Alice Springs. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Hairdresser to join our professional and growing team on a full-time basis. Position Details Position: Hairdresser Employment Type: Full-Time Hours: 38 hours per week Location: Alice Springs, NT Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 per annum plus superannuation About the Role The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a high standard of hairdressing services while delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall success of the salon. Key Duties and Responsibilities • Consult with clients to assess their hair needs and recommend suitable services and products • Perform precision hair cutting for women, men and children • Provide professional colouring services including foils, balayage, highlights, colour corrections and toning • Carry out hair treatments and scalp treatments • Perform hair styling, blow waves, upstyling and special occasion hairstyling • Recommend and retail professional haircare products • Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic workstation • Build and maintain strong client relationships and encourage repeat bookings • Assist in achieving salon retail and service targets • Mentor and support junior staff and apprentices where required • Complete daily salon operational duties • Adhere to workplace health and safety requirements • Work collaboratively within a team environment Skills and Experience Required • Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent qualification • Minimum two years of relevant industry experience • Demonstrated experience in cutting, colouring, styling and chemical services • Strong consultation and customer service skills • High level of professionalism and personal presentation • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong organisational and time management skills • Availability to work Saturdays and late evenings as required • Experience with premium salon brands and advanced colouring techniques will be highly regarded What We Offer • Competitive salary package • Ongoing professional development and training opportunities • Supportive and professional team environment • Staff discounts on products and services • Career growth opportunities within an established business • Relocation assistance may be available for suitable candidates • Visa sponsorship may be considered for suitably qualified applicants How to Apply Please submit your resume and cover letter detailing your qualifications and experience to: ruby@mombasadayspa.com.au Applications close: 17 July 2026 Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
