Work Arrangement: Majority remote (estimate: 80–90% remote)

Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hrs./week)

Role Overview

This position serves as a mid-level Front-End GIS Developer within PennDOT's Bureau of Solutions Management. The selected candidate will support the design and development of the PA Unified Crash System. The candidate will work under the direction of the project's Technical Lead and Application Architect to write, test, and document code implementing system features and enhancements using Angular, Java, Spring Boot, GIS, and Power BI technologies.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and document front-end components for enterprise GIS applications
• Implement system features and enhancements using Angular and related UI technologies
• Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and GIS services
• Collaborate with architects, technical leads, and cross-functional teams
• Support reporting and visualization through Power BI and GIS data layers
• Ensure solutions meet accessibility, usability, and performance standards
