Minara Resources has an opportunity for an experienced Training Planner to join our established and dedicated Human Resources Training team based on site at Murrin Murrin Operations. Minara Resources is Australia’s largest cobalt producer and a major world producer of nickel. Our Murrin Murrin site in WA’s northern Goldfields is an integrated nickel and cobalt mining and processing operation employing over 1,000 people. The Role The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team works closely with the Training Administrator, Trainers, operational departments, and HR advisors to identify training needs and support workforce development. You will be responsible for:
  • Developing training plans, scheduling and coordinating training sessions in line with the company’s training plan, ensuring compliance with deadlines and budget constraints Overseeing the administration of all training activities within the Learning Management System (LMS) Interpreting and clarifying training needs that are expressed by trainers and internal clients Planning and developing training plans and sessions to be utilised across multiple channels Ensuring the quality of training provided by our internal training resources or our external partners Consulting and selecting training organizations/external partners likely to meet the needs identified in the training plan Collaborating with the line managers to compile and submit relevant reports.

About You This role would suit a technically competent and driven production specialist ideally looking for a new challenge in our multifaceted processing plant. You will also have:
  • Advanced Diploma or Bachelor in the field of training, minimum experience of 3 years, ideally in Mine Good time management capabilities Demonstrated ability of completing administrative tasks related to maintaining accurate training records. Proficient in computer skills, including the use of integrated management systems, word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications Ability to manage contractors Demonstrated ability to lead meetings or workshops A current & valid C class manual driver’s licence
