The Mental Health Clinician (0-25 years), will work within the multidisciplinary team undertaking a full range of clinical duties and supporting consumers during their patient journey in acute episodes within recovery and treatment. The clinician will utilise skill sets within their scope of practice and use these in supporting consumers, carers and supporters of mental health with the area mental health service.
Clinicians will perform urgent acute clinical assessment and routine assessment, working with consumers and carers in safety planning and promoting and delivering high-quality, evidence-based holistic treatment (pharmacological and therapeutic intervention) within a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive framework.
Social Worker, Nurse, Psychologist, OT Mental Health are eligible to apply
Community Mental Health - Over 26 years - Adult
The Senior Mental Health Clinician - 26+ undertakes a full range of clinical duties including the provision of recovery orientated, undertaking comprehensive assessments, care coordination, evidence-based treatment, psycho-education and consumer and family collaboration.
The Senior Mental Health Clinician - 26+ also supports the Site and Operations Manager, and other Seniors within the site to implement the Model of Care.
Social Worker, Nurse, Psychologist, OT Mental Health are eligible to apply
Necessary Criteria:
Minimum 2 years post registration experience in Mental Health field, OR 2 years' experience working with children (role 1), Adult (role 2) either in the educational setting or with an agency
Community Mental Health experience
Formal post-Graduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing, Mental Health Social Work, Psychology or Mental Health OT
Has AHPRA or eligible to apply
AASW Membership - If applicable
