Their client base also includes Sales and Distribution, Retail, Information Technology, Professional and Commercial Services, as well as High-Net-Worth Families.
Established for more than 80 years, with 100+ staff members, they have a focus on professional development and career progression and boast many 10-20+ year tenures.
The Role
As a Senior Audit Manager, you will have a strong social conscience and sound workplace ethics. The successful candidate will work closely with the Partners and have strong managerial experience with an ongoing appetite to work with not-for-profit clients.
The ideal candidate is someone looking to progress to a Director or Partner in the coming years with a clear road map outlined on how to get there!
Day to day:
- Managing an audit portfolio in excess of $1.2m
- Responsible for delivering high level work for review
- 65% hands on Auditing and 35% Leadership (encompassing reviewing, delegating and mentoring)
- Assist in the presentation of findings and discuss issues with Audit
- Committee
- Assisting in the due diligence process (As Required)
- Responsible for the development of business and leveraging current
- relationships to generate more work
- Identify areas requiring improvement in the clients’ business processes and possible recommendations and prepare and deliver these to clients
About You
- Minimum 5 years of local Australian experience in an external audit role
- Strong knowledge of AASBs and ASAs
- Experience managing a team
- NFP experience (desirable)
