Landscape Gardener

About the roleUrban Leaf Landscaping Limited is seeking an experienced Gardener to join our team in Remuera, Auckland. This is a full-time position with minimum of 30 hours per week guaranteed, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of outdoor landscaping projects and contribute to the growth and success of our business. What you'll be doing

• Undertaking landscaping work such as garden bed preparation, planting, lawn care, and the installation of paving, retaining walls, and other landscape features
• Maintaining existing landscapes by mowing, pruning, weeding, and applying fertilisers and other treatments as needed
• Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner
• Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of our landscaping services

What we're looking for

• A experienced Gardener with at least 2 years’ experience or in a similar role within the gardening and landscaping industry
• A good understanding of plant species, garden design principles, and landscape maintenance techniques
• Proficiency in the use of landscaping tools and equipment, including ride-on mowers, chainsaws, and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow landscaping plans and specifications
• Excellent physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors
• A positive, customer-focused attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A valid driver's license and your own reliable transportation
