Begin date: 4/1/2026 Full Time: Yes Number of Workers Requested: 1 Job Duties: The worker will be responsible for feeding and watering livestock, monitoring food and water supplies, and herding and hauling livestock to pastures or enclosures. Duties include examining animals for signs of illness, injury, or disease, administering medications and vaccinations, and assisting with calving and animal births. The worker will operate trucks, tractors, and equipment to distribute feed and transport livestock or materials between locations. Responsibilities include cleaning pens, stalls, and equipment using disinfectants and appropriate tools, mixing feed and additives, and shifting animals between grazing areas. The worker will assist with maintaining accurate records of livestock health, feeding, and production. Tasks also involve fencing, general farmyard maintenance, ordering and arranging delivery of feed, and performing repairs on buildings, pens, fences, and equipment. The worker will mix and apply chemicals to hay land and pastureland, and assist in hay production by cutting, raking, baling, and hauling hay. Additional responsibilities include loading and unloading feed and grain, segregating animals by physical characteristics, and checking or rounding up cattle using horseback or all-terrain vehicles. Workers will also perform duties related to livestock reproduction and ensure animals have sufficient access to food and water. Maintenance and cleanup around farmyards and feedlots is required.
