Position: Care Assistant Salary: From £12.60 per hour Job Type: Full time Location: Giffnock About the Role:We are seeking dedicated and empathetic Care Assistants who are also drivers to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and toileting
  • Supporting with mobility and physical activity
  • Administering medication (following training and guidelines)
  • Preparing meals and assisting with feeding where necessary
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Assisting with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in clients’ health or behaviour
  • Maintaining accurate care records and following care plans

Requirements:
  • Genuine passion for helping others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced PVG check
  • Previous care experience is essential
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle is essential
