Job Description Summary: We’re looking for an experienced, strategic, and self-motivated Manager of eCommerce Analytics with deep experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG), ideally within the beauty industry. This role is critical to unlocking insights from complex data sets to inform decision-making and drive growth across multiple eCommerce channels, including retailer.com and pure-play platforms.
The ideal candidate combines a strong background in analytics, statistical modeling, and data visualization with a commercial mindset and fluency in online consumer behavior. You’ll serve as a cross-functional connector, translating data into action across marketing, product, sales, and digital strategy teams. Job Description: Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement analytics strategies to uncover performance trends, identify growth opportunities, and drive actionable insights for eCommerce success.
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and segmentation to optimize digital shelf performance and customer engagement.
- Collaborate closely with teams across DTC, brand marketing, sales, and product development to align data efforts with business goals.
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations that clearly communicate complex data findings to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Partner with internal sales leads, retailers, and third-party data providers to gather relevant insights and expand data capabilities.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with company policies and data privacy regulations.
- Contribute to the evaluation and rollout of new eCommerce platforms, analytics tools, and technologies.
- Foster a data-driven culture across the organization, promoting curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in eCommerce analytics, business intelligence, or data science roles, with a focus on CPG or retail (beauty industry strongly preferred).
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with advanced experience using statistical tools such as Python, R, or SAS.
- Strong command of data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Deep understanding of Shopify, Google Analytics (preferably GA4), and digital performance metrics.
- Proven ability to translate raw data into strategic recommendations and business impact.
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and storytelling ability—able to distill technical insights into clear business language.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Passionate about consumer behavior, digital commerce, and using data to drive innovation.
