We’re growing ~25% month-on-month. We’re moving extremely fast, and it’s incredibly exciting. We have a lot of diverse tasks which need doing. We need you to help us accelerate and scale Solve Intelligence to the next level of growth.
As the Founder’s Associate, you’ll be the right-hand person to the founders Chris, Sanj, and Angus. You’ll get first-hand, hands-on experience founding, building, and running the most lean, talent-dense, and fast-moving team in London.
Salar Kamanger, employee #9 at Google, is a good example of a Founder’s Associate gap filler who went on to run YouTube as CEO. Salar joined Google straight out of Stanford undergrad with a biology bachelor degree. He did a series of odd jobs the founders needed help with - including early legal and finance, writing Google's first business plan, and eventually migrating into product management. Salar had a stellar role at Google due to his competence and intelligence as well as the relationship he built to Google's founders and early team.
You’ll be a gap filler for the founders, helping us with everything such as finance and accounting, office setup (finding space, getting equipment), ongoing tasks (team outings, perk organization), basic business development support on deals with law firms and enterprises, marketing (social media, PR support), partnership and customer relationship management and support, employee onboarding, welcome packages, logistics, and much more.

👋 Who you’ll work with
Sanj (Chief Research Officer and co-founder): Sanj did his MSci in Physics at the University of Cambridge and his PhD in AI at the Gatsby Unit, UCL. He won awards at top AI conferences, worked on the R&D team at Huawei, and received widespread attention for his contributions to open-source LLM GitHub projects. He joined Magic Carpet AI as employee #4, where he developed AI strategies for trading which deployed millions of capital before being acquired by Blockchain.com.
Chris (Chief Executive Officer and co-founder): Chris did his undergrad at Imperial College, masters at the University of Cambridge, and PhD at UCL, during which he published 10+ publications and won awards in top AI conferences and journals. He has worked in leading tech organisations, including Dyson, The Alan Turing Institute, and InstaDeep before its acquisition by BioNTech.
Angus (Chief Technology Officer and co-founder): Angus did an MEng in Computer Science at the University of Bristol where he won a cyber security scholarship at GCHQ before working at Qualcomm. He then joined a London-based hedge fund, Coremont (Brevan Howard). There, he led a small team to build a greenfield trade processing platform which scaled to millions of trades per day.
You’ll also work with the rest of our super talented team of AI researchers, software engineers, patent attorneys, and go-to-market experts.

As Our Founder’s Associate, You Will Be a Generalist Able To Roll Your Sleeves Up To Run And Scale a Tech Company. You’ll Have The Following Traits
- Detail and process oriented. To do the above tasks exceptionally well, you’ll need to be someone who can manage a process well and catch any items or errors early.
- Follow through. The purpose of this role is to prevent items from falling through the gaps. You’ll be able to take on a task and see it to its conclusion independently.
- Ability to context switch. You’ll be side-by-side with the CEO, taking on a wide variety of functional tasks in a given week. You must be able to work on an office search for an hour and then a partnership meeting the next. This means you need fast mode switching and a generalist skill set.
- Fast learner & willing to deal with ambiguity. Given the breadth of this role, you must be able to learn quickly on the job.
- Willing for your role to evolve. As we scale Solve Intelligence, your role will evolve over time and you will specialize where needed.
- Founder trust. You will earn founder trust early given the competence and follow through as needed for this role. This trust will later translate into outsized roles as we scale the Company.
