By adopting a whole-of-child and family-centred framework, we aim to strengthen foundational skills that enable children to participate confidently in everyday environments and early learning settings.About the RoleNeuroverse Kids Pty Ltd is seeking a passionate and qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) programme, supporting children aged 0–9 years.Working within a multidisciplinary team, the Early Childhood Teacher will design and deliver play-based, developmentally appropriate educational programmes that support children’s learning, participation, and developmental progress.The successful candidate will work collaboratively with families and allied health professionals to support children in achieving developmental milestones, building independence, and strengthening early learning foundations.Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement individualised, play-based learning programmes that support children’s developmental goals.
- Deliver educational interventions that promote communication, social interaction, cognitive development, and early learning readiness.
- Observe, assess, and document children’s developmental progress.
- Develop inclusive and supportive learning environments that encourage participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with allied health professionals and multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated care and developmental outcomes.
- Partner with families to provide guidance, strategies, and support that reinforce children’s development in home and community settings.
- Participate in case discussions, care planning, and ongoing professional development activities.
Children We SupportOur Early Childhood Early Intervention services are designed for children living with developmental delays and disabilities, including:
- Developmental delays
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Down syndrome
- Sensory processing challenges
- Speech and language delays
- Intellectual disabilities
Qualifications & Registration
- Completed Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, or an equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification.
- Current registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant professional body (e.g., Victorian Institute of Teaching – VIT, where applicable).
- Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood development, inclusive education practices, and child-centred pedagogical approaches
Professional Experience
- Experience supporting young children with developmental delays and/or disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Experience designing and implementing play-based, developmentally appropriate learning programmes aligned with recognised early childhood education frameworks.
- Experience working collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams, including allied health professionals.
- Additional study or background in related disciplines such as Occupational Therapy, child development, or allied health is highly regarded.
