Light Vehicle Mechanic – Full-Time Role | $35–$45/hr + Super + Accommodation | Nhulunbuy NTDarky’s Mechanical Service Pty Ltd is looking for a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our growing team in Nhulunbuy, Northern Territory.This is a full-time role offering $35 to $45 per hour (all-inclusive) + superannuation, with accommodation provided, uniforms supplied, and work in both Nhulunbuy and remote locations.What you'll be doing· Diagnose, repair and maintain a variety of light vehicles, including cars, 4WDs and light commercial vehicles· Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance checks and services· Liaise with customers to understand and address their vehicle concerns· Maintain detailed records of all work performed· Ensure workshop tools and equipment are well-maintained and used safely· Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environmentWhat we're looking for· Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic with a minimum of 3 years' experience· Strong technical skills and knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repair· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting· Excellent communication and customer service skills· Current driver's licence and clean driving record· Relevant trade qualifications or certificatesWhat You’ll Get:· $35–$45/hr all-inclusive hourly rate (above award)· Superannuation on top· Accommodation will be provided.· Flights covered for remote placements (conditions apply)· Monday–Friday roster.· Company uniform included· Access to company vehicle and shared onsite equipment· Full visa sponsorship available (if required and eligible)This is a long-term opportunity to work with a respected mechanical business operating in the Territory.
