Part-Time Veterinarian (Chandlers Hill Vet)

Our Location: Chandlers Hill Vet is in Happy Valley, a leafy suburb in the southern hills of Adelaide. We are just half an hour from the McLaren Vale Wine region to the south and the City in the north. The beach and Marion Shopping centre are 15-20 minutes’ drive away.
About Us: Chandlers Hill Vet is a well-established small animal practice with a strong reputation in the local community. Our recently renovated and extended clinic offers a modern, spacious environment featuring three consultation rooms, a separate cat waiting area, and dedicated dog and cat wards.
Our facilities include:

• A dedicated imaging room, sterile surgery, and non-sterile treatment area
• A central veterinary office and nurse station
• Ezyvet practice management software
• An in-house laboratory with Idexx blood and urine analyzers
• Digital dental radiography (Sopro), general digital x-ray, and ultrasound equipment We also regularly collaborate with The Austin, our mobile ultrasound specialist.

Our Team:
You’ll be joining a supportive team of five veterinarians (three-four vets working daily) and a skilled group of veterinary nurses. Our nurses actively assist in consults—supporting treatment recommendations, animal handling, record keeping, and billing—allowing our vets to focus more on clinical care.
The Opportunity:
We are currently looking for a part-time veterinarian (approximately 30 hours per week) to join our team. Love surgery? We love to play to our teams’ strengths. Prefer consulting only? That’s absolutely fine—we’re flexible!
Our Ideal Candidate: We’re looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified and registered veterinarian (or eligible for registration in South Australia)
• Possesses a minimum of two years’ experience as a practicing veterinarian
• Enjoys working collaboratively in a supportive team environment
• Communicates effectively with both clients and colleagues
• Has a commitment to high standards of patient care and client service
