About the Role The Guidewire ClaimCenter Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to design, enhance, and support ClaimCenter-based claims solutions in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain. You will lead requirements, support configuration and integration work, and help ensure ClaimCenter delivers measurable business value through streamlined claims operations. Key Responsibilities● Work with Claims, IT, and other business stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business and system requirements for Guidewire ClaimCenter. ● Analyse current claims processes and workflows, identify gaps and improvement opportunities, and translate them into ClaimCenter features, rules, and configurations. ● Produce clear functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and data mappings for ClaimCenter implementations, enhancements, and upgrades. ● Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams (developers, architects, QA) to ensure solutions are aligned with requirements and ClaimCenter capabilities. ● Support the design and configuration of ClaimCenter entities, typelists, workflows, and business rules in collaboration with configuration and integration teams. ● Contribute to integration initiatives between ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter/BillingCenter, external systems, and reporting platforms (e.g. APIs, messaging, batch, data migration). ● Assist in planning and execution of functional testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing; validate that delivered solutions meet business needs. ● Participate in and often lead Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) ensuring requirements are well-understood and traceable. ● Create and maintain high-quality documentation including BRDs/FRDs, configuration notes, test scenarios, and training materials. ● Provide production support and subject matter expertise on ClaimCenter, helping troubleshoot issues and recommend enhancements. ● Stay current with Guidewire product updates, ClaimCenter best practices, and P&C insurance industry trends. Required Skills and Experience ● 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in P&C insurance, with strong exposure to claims processes and systems. ● Hands-on functional experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter (implementations, upgrades, or major enhancements). ● Solid understanding of the end-to-end claims lifecycle (FNOL, coverage verification, investigation, reserving, payments, subrogation, recovery, closure). ● Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, user story writing, acceptance criteria definition, and process modelling.
