Perform seasonal field work related to grain farming operations and assist with the operation of agricultural equipment necessary to complete seasonal grain harvest activities. Workers must safely operate and maintain agricultural equipment used during seasonal grain farming operations. Duties include routine maintenance, inspections, lubrication, and minor mechanical repairs on agricultural equipment and machinery to ensure continued operation during the harvest season. Workers will assist with equipment preparation, field operation activities, and grain harvest support as directed by the employer. Work is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions common to seasonal grain farming operations. Hours and work activities may vary depending on weather, crop conditions, and seasonal agricultural needs. Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday.
