Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. Duties- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Lead and motivate a team of staff, including cooks, bartenders, and servers, to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Oversee kitchen activities, including food preparation and production, ensuring quality and consistency in all dishes served.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
- Develop staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours while managing labour costs effectively.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Implement training programmes for new employees, focusing on hospitality standards and operational procedures.
- Monitor financial performance, including sales targets and cost control measures, to achieve profitability goals.
Requirements- Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, food production techniques, and menu development.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Previous experience in supervising food preparation or bartending is advantageous but not essential.
