Restaurant Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and leadership, ensuring that our restaurant runs smoothly while providing exceptional service to our guests. This role requires a hands-on approach, with the ability to manage a diverse team and maintain high standards in food production and preparation. Duties

• Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Lead and motivate a team of staff, including cooks, bartenders, and servers, to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Oversee kitchen activities, including food preparation and production, ensuring quality and consistency in all dishes served.
• Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
• Develop staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours while managing labour costs effectively.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Implement training programmes for new employees, focusing on hospitality standards and operational procedures.
• Monitor financial performance, including sales targets and cost control measures, to achieve profitability goals.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
• Knowledge of kitchen operations, food production techniques, and menu development.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
• Previous experience in supervising food preparation or bartending is advantageous but not essential.
