Job description: Role : Network Administrator (Level 2/3) Location : Sydney, NSW | Hybrid/Onsite Apply: shyam@bmptechone.com About the RoleBMP Tech One Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to support enterprise clients across infrastructure, networking, cloud integration, cybersecurity, and system optimisation initiatives.This role requires a hands-on professional with strong experience in network architecture, infrastructure management, performance tuning, security, and troubleshooting across complex enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities Network & Infrastructure Management

• Install, configure, and support client hardware and software environments.
• Perform hardware suitability assessments, load calculations, and stress testing.
• Document current ("As-Is") and future-state ("To-Be") infrastructure architectures.
• Manage and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including:
• Servers
• Switches
• Routers
• Firewalls
• Printers
• Thin & Fat Clients
• Operating Systems
• Cloud Integrations
• Database Applications

Architecture & Performance

• Analyse system architecture and network designs to support future growth.
• Recommend infrastructure upgrades and optimisation strategies.
• Conduct load balancing, capacity planning, performance tuning, and stress testing.
• Support integration of enterprise applications, middleware, cloud platforms, and operating systems.

Security & Operations

• Monitor network performance and availability.
• Support cyber incident response and troubleshooting activities.
• Conduct security assessments and recommend improvements.
• Maintain network inventory, architecture diagrams, and operational documentation.
• Develop network fault diagnosis and resolution procedures.

Client Support & Training

• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to clients.
• Deliver end-user training on network operations, password management, security controls, and infrastructure best practices.
• Prepare technical reports, architecture documentation, and infrastructure recommendations.

Skills & ExperienceEssential

• 5–7+ years of experience as a Network Administrator.
• Strong experience with:
• Network Architecture
• Routers & Switches
• Firewalls
• Server Administration
• Load Balancing
• Stress Testing
• Infrastructure Security
• Cloud Integrations
• Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale environments.
• Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• CCNA Certification.
• Red Hat Certification.
• AWS or IBM Cloud Certification.

Technical Skills Experience with:
