The Certification Regime forms part of the broader Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR), implemented through Deutsche Bank’s UK Licensing and Registrations function within the UKI Employee Compliance team based. You will be a key part of Employee Licensing team based in Birmingham playing a key role in delivering Regulatory excellence. You will report directly to the Birmingham based Certification Lead.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Providing Licensing & Registrations process expertise with responsibility for creating, maintaining, advising and delivering end-to-end process excellence throughout an employee’s lifecycle
- Ensuring accurate Certification under FCA Regulations for in-scope employees inclusive of education assessments against qualifications, competency and capability standards across the industry
- Effective People Management & engagement in team members development, contributing towards the growth of the team and aspiring talent.
- Facilitating communication between functional teams across Compliance, HR, other Infrastructure areas and the wider Business
- Drafting responses to and/or collating and reviewing responses from the business when responding to information requests from regulators as well as to regulatory changes

- Advisory and guidance background
- Forward thinking and self-driven with the ability to see opportunities in challenges
- Experience developing and implementing team strategy whilst working within the wider Compliance and Bank strategies
- Support with the Management of a growing team, cultivating a strong culture within the team in keeping with Deutsche Bank’s values and beliefs. Ensuring that there is emphasis on open communication, stakeholder engagement, appropriate escalation supported by ongoing training and education
- Able to share information, knowledge and expertise with peers and team members
