LSI, a leader in providing H-2A labor solutions to agricultural employers, is seeking a highly organized & customer-focused Program Specialist. This role is essential in supporting the operations of our H-2A program, ensuring smooth internal processes, exceptional customer service, and compliance with program requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative support, technical proficiency, and the ability to build positive relationships with both clients and industry professionals.
Key Responsibilities: 1.
Support Services: · Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for H-2A program compliance, including operating within the internal LSI platform. · Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to create reports, presentations, and spreadsheets for program tracking and client updates. · Manage & organize filing systems, ensuring confidentiality accessibility of documents. · Coordinate schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements for clients and team members. · Utilize Adobe suite to prepare online packages for clients. · Maintain awareness of ongoing regulatory changes and develop communications to send to customers and organize internal webinars on labor topics that may impact ag-employers utilizing the expertise of industry professionals. 2.
Customer Service: · Serve as the primary point of contact for agricultural employers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. · Provide support to NEW and potential clients in understanding H-2A program requirements, timelines, and processes. · Maintain high level of customer service, ensuring client satisfaction is prioritized. 3.
H-2A Program Coordination: · Assist in completing and submitting necessary government forms and documentation for H-2A filing process. · Monitor program deadlines and ensure timely submission of applications and reports. 4.
Technical Capabilities: · Use Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Pro Products & other tools as needed with proficiency. · Must be resourceful and motivated to find the answer to a technical question independently. 5.
Marketing, Sales, Outreach: · Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase awareness of LSI’s services. · Identify and pursue new client acquisition opportunities by conducting market research, attending industry events, and developing tailored outreach strategies for potential agricultural partners. · Establish and nurture long-term relationships with agricultural employers, industry associations, and community organizations to foster trust and promote LSI’s services. · Proactively research and explore new opportunities for outreach, including developing partnerships with agricultural organizations, attending trade shows, and engaging with relevant professional networks. · Coordinate and represent LSI at tradeshows, industry conferences, networking events, and outreach activities to promote services and connect with potential and existing clients. · Create marketing materials and presentation content to support outreach efforts and strengthen brand awareness within the agricultural community. 6.
Team Collaboration: · Work with internal teams to streamline administrative efforts & enhance client satisfaction. · Collaborate with management to address program challenges and develop solutions. · Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving operations and services.
Qualifications: · Minimum of 2-3 years of related experience, preferably in the agricultural, labor services, administrative or H-2A program sector. · Demonstrate self-motivation by proactively bringing new ideas, strategies, and solutions to the table, contributing to the overall growth and success of LSI. · Ability to travel on occasion for customer visits and industry events. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AdobePro. · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Customer service experience, with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships. · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills: · Familiarity with H-2A program requirements and processes. · Experience in the agricultural or labor services industry. Working Conditions: · Full-time position with standard office hours; ability to work remotely after onboarding period. Will consider part time as well. · Occasional travel for conferences, customer meetings, networking events, and trade shows.
