Reporting into Flexi Parts Supervisor, the NDT Technician will join our Flexi Parts Department on a Full Time basis at our Perth Airport location. This role involves conducting Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on trackframe components and radiator parts, ensuring safety and managing workload effectively. The ideal candidate will strive for customer satisfaction with strong interpersonal skills and benefit from knowledge of CAT products, though it's not mandatory.
Department Overview: Flexi Parts & Mining Services specialises in powertrain overhauls, machine dismantling and rebuilds, radiator overhauling services, and undercarriage repairs. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality service and support, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of heavy equipment.
Roster: 5 On, 2 Off – Days – 10 hrs/day

What You’ll Do:
- Performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on trackframe components and radiator parts.
- Ensuring safety and prioritizing workload effectively.
- Striving for customer satisfaction with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Benefiting from knowledge of CAT products, though not required.
Skills & Experience:
- Australian recognised AINDT / PCN / ISO 9712 Level 2 certification in MT, PT & UT is essential for this role.
- A positive attitude with aligned core WesTrac SPARC values of Safety, Pride, Accountability, Respect, and Customer.
- Use of safety and risk assessment tools such as Job Safety Analysis and Take 5's.
- Experience in reading engineering drawings.
- Strong time management skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Forklift, rigging, and dogging licenses (Desired)
