We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, handle transactions efficiently, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and proficiency with POS systems. Bilingual abilities and experience in retail sales or merchandising are a plus, helping to enhance customer interactions and sales opportunities. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
• Operate POS systems accurately for cash, credit, and digital payments
• Handle cash handling responsibilities with precision and integrity
• Maintain organized checkout areas and ensure product displays are tidy
• Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrations, and upselling opportunities
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to reduce wait times
• Support merchandising efforts by restocking shelves and organizing displays as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cashiering, retail sales, or customer service preferred
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual skills are a plus
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to demonstrate product demos and engage customers effectively
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
• Professional appearance with good phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
• Multilingual capabilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
