are currently seeking a qualified and experienced
Early Childhood Assistant for a 1.0 FTE (full-time equivalent of 40 hours)
permanent position for the 2025/2026 school year starting June 2025. ECE positions start at $22-$27 per hour (based on
experience, full-time hours, etc.). Interested candidates should

The perfect candidate will demonstrate:
- an ECE/ECEA Certification for B.C. and/or a Waldorf Early Years Certification.
- for Canadian or International candidates an applicable ECE certification that are eligible to apply for a licence to
practice ECE in BC (through B.C.’s Ministry of Children & Family).
- a willingness to commit to more training for Waldorf Early Years Certification and or B.C. ECE’s Certification.
- a B.C. Emergency First Aid Certificate for working with young children
- Excellent professional and collaborative skills with the ability to foster professional relationships between
teacher & parents and work well with other Faculty/ Administrative Staff colleagues.
- A Canadian citizenship and/or eligibility to work in Canada. WWS will administer a current Criminal Record
Check.
