Permanent Full Time (1.0 FTE) Do you love working with children & youth? Would you like to further your career in education?

Join a strong team of experienced and engaged teachers and staff at Whistler Waldorf School in beautiful Whistler, BC. We
are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Assistant for a 1.0 FTE (full-time equivalent of 40 hours)
permanent position for the 2025/2026 school year starting June 2025. ECE positions start at $22-$27 per hour (based on

The perfect candidate will demonstrate:

• an ECE/ECEA Certification for B.C. and/or a Waldorf Early Years Certification.
• for Canadian or International candidates an applicable ECE certification that are eligible to apply for a licence to

practice ECE in BC (through B.C.’s Ministry of Children & Family).

• a willingness to commit to more training for Waldorf Early Years Certification and or B.C. ECE’s Certification.
• a B.C. Emergency First Aid Certificate for working with young children
• Excellent professional and collaborative skills with the ability to foster professional relationships between

teacher & parents and work well with other Faculty/ Administrative Staff colleagues.

• A Canadian citizenship and/or eligibility to work in Canada. WWS will administer a current Criminal Record

Check.
