Key Duties (1) Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings (2) Assisting with structural design, layout, and installation procedures (3) Cutting materials and assembling/nailing shaped parts (4) Erecting framework and roof framing, laying sub-flooring and floorboards (5) Installing doors, windows, drywalls, cabinets, stairs, fascia panels, cladding, and window frames (6) Assembling prepared timber and cutting joints (7) Constructing concrete formwork and conducting repair work as required (8) Working with plastic laminates, perspex, and metals when required (9) Ensuring compliance with local building codes and OH&S standards Relevant Skills and Qualifications (1) Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent work experience (2) Proven carpentry and joinery experience (minimum 2 years preferred) (3) White Card (Construction Induction Card) – required (4) Ability to operate power tools and construction equipment (5) Strong understanding of materials, measurements, and construction plans (6) Physically fit and able to lift, climb, and stand for long periods (7) Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic (8) Good communication skills to liaise with project managers, internal staff, and clients (9) Valid driver’s licence (preferred) What We Offer (1) Full-time stable employment with long-term projects (2) Supportive team environment with opportunity to grow (3) Competitive hourly rate based on experience (4) Safe working environment and well-maintained tools (5) Opportunity for visa sponsorship for the right candidate Apply Now This is a full-time position based in Melbourne.
