Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant and Bar Manger to oversee the daily operations of our bar and restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive knowledge of food and beverage service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and creating a welcoming environment for guests. Duties- Supervise and coordinate the activities of Restaurant and bar staff, ensuring smooth service delivery
- Oversee food preparation and ensure quality standards are maintained across all offerings
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control stock to minimise waste
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety standards
- Lead the team in delivering exceptional customer service, addressing guest needs promptly
- Organise staff schedules, training sessions, and performance reviews to foster a motivated team
- Develop new cocktail menus and promotional events to attract customers
- Monitor daily sales figures and prepare reports for senior management
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with hygiene standards
Skills- Proven experience in supervising or managing a bar or restaurant environment
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols
- Experience with food production, culinary techniques, and kitchen operations
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards including serving protocols and customer engagement
- Ability to oversee food safety procedures and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Previous experience in hotel or restaurant settings is highly desirable
- Barista experience is advantageous for creating specialised coffee offerings
- Strong communication skills with a focus on teamwork and leadership
