Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant and Bar Manger to oversee the daily operations of our bar and restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive knowledge of food and beverage service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and creating a welcoming environment for guests. The successful applicant will play a key role in driving the success of our establishment through effective team management and operational excellence. Duties
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of Restaurant and bar staff, ensuring smooth service delivery
  • Oversee food preparation and ensure quality standards are maintained across all offerings
  • Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control stock to minimise waste
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety standards
  • Lead the team in delivering exceptional customer service, addressing guest needs promptly
  • Organise staff schedules, training sessions, and performance reviews to foster a motivated team
  • Develop new cocktail menus and promotional events to attract customers
  • Monitor daily sales figures and prepare reports for senior management
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with hygiene standards

Skills
  • Proven experience in supervising or managing a bar or restaurant environment
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols
  • Experience with food production, culinary techniques, and kitchen operations
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry standards including serving protocols and customer engagement
  • Ability to oversee food safety procedures and ensure compliance with health regulations
  • Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Previous experience in hotel or restaurant settings is highly desirable
  • Barista experience is advantageous for creating specialised coffee offerings
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on teamwork and leadership
