Senior Mechanical Engineer

MEP Engineering is a specialist M&E / MEP engineering consultancy delivering complex infrastructure projects across Australia. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with Middle East and Australian project experience to join our team.

The RoleYou will play a key role in the delivery of major infrastructure projects, providing mechanical design input, technical coordination, and construction support across multidisciplinary teams.Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical design and coordination for large-scale infrastructure projects
• HVAC and mechanical services design for rail, transport, and stadium projects
• Interface coordination with civil, architectural, electrical, and hydraulic disciplines
• Technical support during construction, commissioning, and handover
• Compliance with Australian Standards, NCC, and project specifications
• Liaison with contractors, clients, and authorities

About You

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in mechanical building services / MEP
• Experience in both the Middle East and Australia is essential
• Proven background on infrastructure projects such as:
  • Rail and transport projects
  • Stadiums or large public venues
  • Major infrastructure or D&C projects

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical services
• Good understanding of Australian Standards and local authority requirements
• Able to work independently and within a fast-paced project environment
