Europa Motors Australia Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced Motor Mechanic.On a full-time basis, you will be part of a multidisciplinary and well-supported team.Title: Motor Mechanic, Full- time positionSalary: A$ 70,000.00 to 100,000.00 plus super depends on skills and experienceWork Location: In person.We are looking for applicants who demonstrate the following:Requirements Certificate 3 including 2 years’ experience or Certificate 4 in Light VehicleMechanical Technology/Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis Proven experience as a Motor Mechanic for at least 2 years. Knowledge of automotive systems, engines, transmissions and othermechanical components. Ability to use diagnostic tools and software to identify problems. Capability to carry out repairs on various types of vehicles, including cars,trucks and motorcycles. Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations andbrake inspections. knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and ability to troubleshoot and repairelectrical issues. Good communication and teamwork skills.Responsibilities Vehicle Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections to assess the condition of avehicle and identify any potential issues. This involves checking all majorsystems, including the engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, andelectrical components. Problem Diagnosis: Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems usingspecialized tools and techniques. This includes using computerizedequipment to read fault codes from the vehicle's onboard computer, as well asperforming manual tests to assess the condition of various components. Repairs and Maintenance: Perform necessary repairs and maintenance tasksto ensure vehicles are in optimal condition. This can range from simple taskslike changing oil and filters to more complex jobs like rebuilding engines orreplacing entire transmission systems. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, andmaintenance performed on vehicles. This includes performing routine servicessuch as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks. Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers regarding the condition oftheir vehicles and the work required, providing clear and professional advice. Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safetyregulations and standards. Parts Management: Order and manage automotive parts inventory to ensureavailability for repairs and maintenance.If you would like to discuss the role further, please click APPLY and send through anup-to date CV.
