Locum Nuclear Medicine Technologist

At I-MED we believe in working as a team and delivering high quality healthcare, to every patient, every time.We're currently seeking a Locum Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support our friendly and collaborative team at Mildura Base Public Hospital. We have flexibility for short term or long term locum opportunities. Reporting to the Chief Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine including radiopharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard.As the region's primary provider of radiology services across both Mildura Base Public Hospital and our Healthscope Court clinic rooms, you'll encounter a wide variety of unique and interesting cases, including Cardiac Imaging.Some of your responsibilities will include and are not limited to:

• Performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine including radio-pharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard
• Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service
• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers
• Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards 

Our Ideal Nuclear Medicine Technician To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated ability to perform high quality Nuclear Medicine examinations independently
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
• Tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine
• Applicants must be AHPRA Registered and hold an VIC radiation license
