Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is looking to appoint a Senior Occupational Health Advisor to join our dynamic and supportive Occupational Health team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a proactive service that plays a key role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our staff community.

This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work both remotely and on campus, depending on service requirements. As a Senior Occupational Health Advisor, you will be instrumental in delivering a high-quality, responsive Occupational Health service by:

  • Advising on health and wellbeing strategies, staff health policies, and procedures

We’re especially keen to hear from candidates with experience in leading or supporting university-wide or organisation-wide wellbeing initiatives—this is an area we’re actively looking to grow.

About You

We’re seeking a compassionate and confident professional who thrives in a varied role and enjoys making a meaningful difference. You’ll be supporting staff across a wide range of roles, so strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with adaptability, are essential.

Essential requirements:
  • Registered General Nurse (RGN)
  • Post-registration qualification in Occupational Health at degree level (or equivalent)
  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  • 2-5 years Occupational Health experience

You’ll be supported by a nurse-led service with regular input from our appointed Occupational Physician.
