Job Title: Oracle Apps DBA – Oracle EBS 12.2 Upgrade

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – Onsite Tues & Wed at 550 W Adams, Chicago, IL)

Duration: 12-month contract (possible extension)

One of our clients is seeking a skilled Oracle Apps DBA to support a high-priority upgrade of its Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) from version 12.1 to 12.2. This role is critical as the client positions its on-prem Oracle systems for long-term support before transitioning to the cloud in future years.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the upgrade of Oracle EBS from 12.1 to 12.2.
• Configure and manage Oracle RAC, multi-node, and DMZ environments.
• Administer Oracle Internet Directory (OID) and Oracle Access Manager (OAM) for Oracle SSO.
• Implement advanced Oracle security features.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and business teams during upgrade planning, testing, and execution.
• Provide hands-on support during go-live and post-upgrade stabilization phases.

Required Skills (please include # of years of experience for each):

• Proven experience with Oracle EBS 12.2 upgrade projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle RAC and multi-node/DMZ configurations.
• Expertise in OID and OAM for managing Oracle SSO.
• Experience implementing advanced security features in Oracle environments.
• Solid background in Oracle E-Business Suite administration.
