MET Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with both hand and power tools. This role is essential in ensuring that all equipment and machinery are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of our operations. Duties

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and adjustments.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement appropriate solutions in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with other team members to enhance workflow and operational efficiency.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the facility.

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with a solid understanding of machinery operations.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
