Associate Attorney who is eager to build a long-term career in a collaborative and fast-paced practice. The position will begin on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to transition to full-time as the practice continues to grow.
What You'll Do You will work directly with partners on a broad range of legal matters, including:
- Business formation and corporate governance
- Commercial contract drafting and negotiation
- Employment and HR counseling
- Business purchases, sales, and mergers & acquisitions
- Commercial dispute strategy and pre-litigation matters
- Employment-based immigration matters (including H-1B, L-1, EB-1, EB-2 NIW, PERM, and related petitions)
- Legal research and memorandum drafting
- Client meetings, strategy discussions, and case management
This role provides substantial client contact and hands-on responsibility from day one.
Qualifications Required - Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active California Bar admission
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken).
- Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Preferred - 0–3 years of legal experience.
- Interest in corporate, commercial, employment, and business immigration law.
- Experience with legal drafting and client communications.
