Job Description:
Studio 97, a newly established and vibrant beauty salon in Christchurch, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Beauty Salon Manager to lead our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage a growing salon that offers nail services, hairdressing, beauty treatments, and beauty products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the beauty industry, a proven track record in salon management, and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of our business. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day salon operations, ensuring high standards of service and client satisfaction. Supervise and lead a team of beauty therapists, hairdressers, and support staff. Oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance management. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and efficient manner. Maintain inventory of salon products and equipment, ordering supplies as needed. Ensure the salon complies with health and safety regulations. Promote salon services and products to enhance business growth. Prepare and maintain financial reports, including budgets and payroll. Collaborate with the owner to develop marketing strategies and promotional events. Key Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in a beauty salon management role. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team. Strong communication and customer service skills. Knowledge of salon operations, financial management, and inventory control. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Qualification in beauty therapy, management, or a related field is desirable but not essential. A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer care. Must meet the requirements for an Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) under Immigration New Zealand guidelines.
