This role is hands-on and perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-quality environment and enjoys working across both à la carte service and events.
What You’ll Be Doing- Working alongside a passionate team of chefs and kitchen staff
- Preparing and cooking seasonal dishes with a focus on fresh, local produce
- Supporting service across restaurant, functions, and weddings
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment
- Upholding Ducks’ standards for quality, consistency, and sustainability
What We’re Looking For- Previous experience as a Chef in a fast-paced, quality kitchen (events experience a bonus!)
- A genuine passion for food, especially seasonal and sustainable cooking
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene practices (Food Safety Supervisor a plus)
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to jump in where needed
