Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and adaptable Unqualified Cover Teacher to join our educational team. In this role, you will provide high-quality cover lessons across various subjects and age groups, ensuring continuity of learning when regular teachers are absent. • Deliver engaging and well-prepared lessons based on provided plans or curriculum guidelines when the regular teacher is unavailable
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
• Support students’ individual needs by adapting activities and providing encouragement
• Maintain discipline and ensure students remain focused on their tasks during lessons
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth transitions and communicate any student concerns or issues
• Assist with classroom organization, including setting up materials and resources for lessons
• Uphold school policies and promote positive behavior, fostering a supportive atmosphere for all learners

Experience

• Experience working with children in educational, tutoring, mentoring, or childcare settings
• Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents
• Creative writing or arts-based experience that can be integrated into lesson delivery is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and student needs
• Prior experience in teaching or tutoring roles is beneficial but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning and development is essential
