Job Description:

Our Head Office in Greenlane has a full-time position for an experienced Finance Officer to join our Finance Team. The ideal applicant will have, or have previously had experience in, the following: * Business/Commerce degree with a major in Accounting * Experience in using Business Central 365 and Approval Plus * Keeping financial records, and maintaining and balancing accounts using computerised systems * Monitoring cash flow and lines of credit * preparing and producing financial statements, budget and expenditure reports and analyses using account books, ledgers and accounting software packages * Preparing invoices, purchase orders and bank deposits * Reconciling accounts against monthly bank statements * Verifying recorded transactions and reporting irregularities to management * Providing taxation advice and preparing taxation returns as applicable (GST related) * A desire to study towards obtaining your NZICA CA qualification * At least three years' experience in a similar role * Be a team player with a positive attitude and a desire to engage with people at the work place * Possess excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) * A self-starter who shows initiative * Have proven ability to work accurately and methodically, prioritising work to meet strict deadlines whilst working under pressure * Possess skills in Microsoft Word and Excel If you are a non-resident applying for this role and seeking visa support, you must meet the following INZ Level 3 skill requirements to be considered: * at least 3 years of relevant work experience, or * a relevant qualification on the New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework (NZQCF) — this must be at least a level 4 qualification for a role at skill level 3, or a diploma for a role at skill level 2.
