What is this challenge about:
- Define and refine clear, objective acceptance criteria in close collaboration with Product Owners and development teams, using AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to improve clarity and completeness.
- Specify and, whenever possible, automate test cases and test scenarios using BDD/TDD frameworks with AI assistance.
- Develop and maintain automated tests at unit, integration, and end-to-end levels, ensuring alignment with engineering best practices and meaningful test coverage.
- Collaborate with DevOps Engineers and Architecture teams to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution and real-time quality reporting.
- Analyze test results and quality metrics, proposing and implementing technical and process improvements (e.g., refactoring, coverage optimisation, adoption of new automation tools).
- Document all automated tests according to team standards and best practices.
- Promote a strong culture of quality ownership across the development teams.

What we are looking for:
- +4 years of experience as a QA Engineer.
- Strong expertise in AI-assisted test automation (unit, integration, and end-to-end testing).
- Proven experience defining clear, testable acceptance criteria, preferably in automation-friendly formats such as BDD.
- Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot for test generation and maintenance; code review support; early defect detection; refactoring suggestions
- Experience working with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of automated testing strategies and quality metrics.
- Ability to write automated tests in Python, including unit and integration tests.
- Experience using AI tools to generate, adapt, and optimize test code.
- Ability to analyze Python codebases to identify relevant test scenarios.
- Experience validating test coverage and proactively proposing improvements.
- Strong documentation skills, following established QA and engineering best practices.
- Living in Lisbon (hybrid role)
- Fluent level of English and Portuguese.
