UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Family Medicine team in Sioux City, IA at Our Sunny Brook Location

Overview

• Established Facility in Sioux City, IA
• Opportunity to provide outpatient medicine in an established and well-known practice
• Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences
• Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients and the community
• Full-time position including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

Responsibilities

• M-F 8-5
• Average patients/day: 16+
• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• Specialty skills: Sutures, EKGs, Splints, Draining abscesses, Pelvic exams, STD screens
• Evaluates, interprets, and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
• Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Will receive ample orientation period to learn workflow and charting

Qualifications

• NP or PA
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
• J-1 waiver sponsorship available
