The RoleThis is a hands-on operations and office role supporting the Transport Manager and Directors with the day-to-day running of our fleet and drivers.You
do not need to be a qualified Transport Manager already –
we will train you and fund your Transport Manager CPC. What you do need are excellent computer skills, attention to detail and the confidence to work in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

Key responsibilities- Assist with daily planning and scheduling of minibus and coach routes
- Input and maintain accurate data in our transport and booking systems
- Monitor live jobs, liaising with drivers and clients to resolve issues quickly
- Support with compliance administration – licences, insurance, vehicle inspections, tachograph records, driver files and training records
- Prepare reports for management (e.g. service performance, vehicle usage, incidents, customer feedback)
- Help coordinate vehicle servicing, MOTs and defect rectification with workshops
- Provide professional, timely responses to customer and stakeholder queries by phone and email
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and documentation
- Provide general office and administrative support to the Transport Manager and Directors
- As you gain experience and complete your Transport Manager CPC, you’ll gradually take on more responsibility for compliance, safety and strategic planning.
What We’re Looking For Essential - Strong PC and systems skills – confident with Outlook, Excel, Word and learning new software quickly
- Fast learner who enjoys problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills – able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks at once
- Confident dealing with drivers, customers and senior management
- Full UK driving licence (Category B)
- Willingness to work occasional early starts / late finishes as operationally required
Desirable (nice to have, not essential) - Category D (PCV) licence and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous experience in transport, logistics, fleet, operations or scheduling
- Experience in an office management, coordination or supervisory role
