We are seeking an experienced and passionate Indian Chef to join our busy restaurant located in regional Queensland. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of traditional and modern Indian dishes, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality Indian curries, tandoori dishes, breads, and snacks while maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation. Prepare, cook, and present authentic Indian dishes to a consistent standard Create and plan menus featuring regional Indian cuisines Manage kitchen operations, stock, and food costs efficiently Supervise and train kitchen staff Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards Collaborate with management to maintain excellent customer satisfaction Requirements; Minimum 2 years of experience as an Indian Chef (restaurant or catering environment) Strong knowledge of spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques used in Indian cuisine Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and time management skills Relevant cookery qualifications preferred What We Offer Competitive salary (based on experience) Sponsorship (482/186 visa) available for the right candidate Supportive and friendly team environment Opportunity to live and work in beautiful regional Queensland
