We specialise in open flame asado cooking, showcasing seasonal ingredients grown on-site and sourced locally.
About the RoleWe’re looking for an experienced
Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and drive a seasonal, evolving menu. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is passionate about produce-led cooking.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute seasonal menus based on farm-grown and local produce
- Adapt menus regularly in line with harvest cycles
- Lead and manage kitchen operations across daily service, functions, and events
- Train, mentor, and inspire the kitchen team
- Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Manage food costs, stock control, and supplier relationships
- Ensure compliance with food safety and WHS standards
- Work collaboratively with the broader venue and farm team
Skills & Experience- Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume venue
- Strong background in seasonal or produce-driven cooking
- Experience with open flame, wood-fire, or asado cooking (preferred)
- Proven ability to design and evolve menus regularly
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to perform under pressure in a busy service environment
- Passion for sustainability and high-quality ingredients
