Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Terraform Engineer to join our DevOps/Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in infrastructure as code, primarily with Terraform, and a deep understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. This role focuses on automating infrastructure provisioning, ensuring secure and scalable environments, and working closely with development, security, and operations teams to optimize deployment pipelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with Terraform: Proficiency in developing, testing, and managing infrastructure with Terraform in a production environment.
  • Cloud Platform Expertise: In-depth knowledge of one or more major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), including core services like EC2, VPCs, IAM, S3, or equivalent.
  • Automation and Scripting: Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • CI/CD Pipeline Experience: Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and integrating Terraform into automated workflows.
  • Strong Understanding of Networking: Knowledge of networking concepts, such as VPC, subnetting, VPNs, and load balancing.
  • Version Control Systems: Experience using Git for version control and collaboration.
  • Security Best Practices: Familiarity with securing cloud infrastructure, including encryption, IAM roles/policies, and compliance standards.

Preferred Skills:

  • Containerization and Orchestration: Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and their integration with cloud infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of Multi-cloud Environments: Experience with multi-cloud strategies and the ability to manage infrastructure across different cloud providers.
  • Monitoring and Logging Tools: Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch to monitor infrastructure health.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
