Senior Merchandise Planner

dSb is proudly partnering with an established fashion retailer who is looking to appoint a Senior Merchandiser / Planner who will successfully maximise profits through effective management of their department whilst managing and mentoring a team.

Main responsibilities include:

• Respond to sales and external market activity to maximise sale opportunities
• Review and monitor range plans regularly with Buyer
• Manage the in-season open to buy at department/category/season level using the WSSI
• propose category budgets, in line with strategic review
• produce a commercial and balanced range planning framework which reflects the departments strategy
• Maximise team performance through effective people management
• Work with Buying & Design to construct a well-balanced range framework which offers the right mix of category

Experience required:

• Be an experienced retail Merchandiser or Senior with Proven track record of effective stock management in a fashion retailer with at least 5 years experience
• WSSi management and OTB
• Work alongside Buyers & Designers to range build and plan
• In-season trading
• Excellent analytical skills
• Team management

Candidates will need to be willing to relocate to Australia, this role is not offered on a remote basis.
