Software Developer (Life/Group 400) - Mid-Senior (1 year renewable contract)

Software Developer (Life400 / Group400) – Global Financial Institution – [1 year contract - renewable]

Gravitas Recruitment is partnering with a global financial institution to hire an experienced Life/Group 400 developer to develop critical enhancements to their core policy management systems. This is a renewable contract position, and can lead to a permanent position.
You'll be responsible to:

1. Build & enhance core SMART400 (LIFE400 / GROUP400) modules (policy admin, billing, claims) with clean, testable code.
2. Integrate core with channels/services (APIs, MQ, files) and optimise data flows.
3. Own delivery end-to-end: tech specs → unit/integration tests → UAT support → production release & defect triage.

You're a great fit if you have:

• 5+ years of hands-on Life400 or Group400 on AS/400 development experience
• Strong DB2/400 (SQL); comfort with Web/App integrations

Nice to have

• Life insurance domain knowledge
