H1b, H4, USC, TN, L2 Job Summary: The Infrastructure Services Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the datacenter migration program, focusing on Middleware MQ, Oracle Exadata, MS SQL Server, VMware, Storage, Network, and Observability. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong foundation in infrastructure management, capable of leading cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions and optimal performance of infrastructure services.
Responsibilities:- Lead the planning and execution of datacenter migration projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including IT teams, vendors, and business units, to gather requirements and define project scope.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and risk management.
- Implement best practices for infrastructure management, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Facilitate troubleshooting and resolution of infrastructure-related issues during and after migration.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies throughout the migration process.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and efficiencies.
Mandatory Skills:- Strong expertise in infrastructure management, particularly in datacenter operations and migration.
- Proficiency in Middleware MQ, Oracle Exadata, MS SQL Server, VMware, Storage, and Networking technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
Preferred Skills:- Familiarity with observability tools and practices.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and hybrid environments.
- Knowledge of ITIL or other service management frameworks.
- Certifications in relevant technologies or project management methodologies.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in infrastructure management or project management are advantageous.
- Proven track record of successful infrastructure project management.
