Job Description:
Tech Lead – Governance (Middleware) position based in Charlotte, NC. H1b, H4, USC, TN, L2 Job Summary:
The Infrastructure Services Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the datacenter migration program, focusing on Middleware MQ, Oracle Exadata, MS SQL Server, VMware, Storage, Network, and Observability. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong foundation in infrastructure management, capable of leading cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions and optimal performance of infrastructure services.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning and execution of datacenter migration projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including IT teams, vendors, and business units, to gather requirements and define project scope.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and risk management.
  • Implement best practices for infrastructure management, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate troubleshooting and resolution of infrastructure-related issues during and after migration.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies throughout the migration process.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and efficiencies.

Mandatory Skills:
  • Strong expertise in infrastructure management, particularly in datacenter operations and migration.
  • Proficiency in Middleware MQ, Oracle Exadata, MS SQL Server, VMware, Storage, and Networking technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with observability tools and practices.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and hybrid environments.
  • Knowledge of ITIL or other service management frameworks.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies or project management methodologies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in infrastructure management or project management are advantageous.
  • Proven track record of successful infrastructure project management.
