• Assist in meal preparation and cooking under the guidance of chefs.
• Help with the organisation and storage of food supplies and ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
• Support catering events by preparing food items as required.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen equipment for events or service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods.

Skills

• Previous experience in a catering or restaurant environment is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation.
