Content Moderator – E-commerce Platform (Austrian German speaking)

We're partnering with a global customer experience leader to recruit Austrian German speaking Content Moderator for an exciting e-commerce project based in Lisbon. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and multicultural team, working in a fast-paced environment that values high standards of quality and compliance.As a Content Moderator, you will ensure that products and services meet quality and legal standards across a popular e-commerce platform. Your responsibilities will involve reviewing content, maintaining compliance with platform policies, and making informed moderation decisions based on local market knowledge.
Your Role

• Review user-generated content and ensure it complies with platform policies and legal standards.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail while working within agreed latency and quality metrics.
• Escalate content or issues in accordance with internal procedures.
• Remain up to date on content moderation guidelines and policy changes.
• Support content safety across a variety of media types while adapting to promotional season peaks.
• Full-time position with rotative shifts (24/7) and two rotative days off per week.

Your Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in German. Candidates must speak Austrian German at a C2/Native level, standard German is not accepted for this role, as the position specifically requires familiarity with Austrian linguistic nuances and local expressions.
• Good command of English (B2 level minimum).
• Strong communication and decision-making skills.
• Background or strong understanding of e-commerce platforms.
• Prior experience in content moderation, customer service, or a similar area is an asset.
• Ability to handle sensitive content and work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.
