Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management, with a flair for creativity and a commitment to food safety. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence, and leading a team of kitchen staff in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties

• Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all food preparation meets quality standards.
• Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
• Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and team management skills.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment operation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the culinary industry.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for cooking and creating innovative dishes that delight customers.
