Opportunity: Physician - Thoracic Surgery - Cardio Thoracic Surgery Job Details: Full-time, board certified/board eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon opportunity joining an established Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery practice Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgery group consists of 2 full-time surgeons and dedicated hospital-based and clinic-based APPs Access to a dedicated CVOR team, 2 CVOR rooms, and 1 hybrid OR with robotics available Strong partnership with high quality cardiology and hospitalist services Opportunity to participate in teaching with an affiliated medical school System-wide EPIC EMR utilized across the health system Perform general CV/thoracic surgery including open and endoscopic procedures Coronary artery bypass surgery including on-pump and off-pump techniques Congenital defect repair including ASD, VSD, and PFO Valvular repair and replacement procedures Aneurysm repair including cardiac and aorto-thoracic Lung resection including VATS procedures Chest wall and pleural procedures Esophagus and diaphragm surgeries Permanent pacemaker placement and AICD management Left ventricular assist devices, TAVR, and CABG procedures Ventilator management and bronchoscopy Evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues Insertion of central lines, arterial lines, PA catheters, and IABP General vascular surgery including open and endovascular approaches Aorto-abdominal aneurysm repair and bypass procedures including aorto-femoral/iliac and fem-pop Endarterectomy procedures including carotid and renal H-1B Visas accepted Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days Compensation: Employed salary with benefits.
