About the role
Our Utility client is seeking a skilled and motivated AEM Front End Developer to join their growing team and to help create stunning, user-friendly web applications that delight their customers.  The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and a passion for developing high-quality web content management solutions. 

Skills and Experience 
  • Knowledge JavaScript including ES6 features, jQuery, CSS3, Sass
  • Solid understanding of HTML5 semantics, structure, and best practices
  • A solid understanding of webpack, NPM tools for organizing and modularizing code
  • An understanding of developing with Java or JavaScript to interface with downstream RESTful API integrations
  • Experience with HTL/Sightly templating language  
  • Working knowledge of speed optimization such as YSlow or Page Speed 
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices 
  • Experience in modern JS frameworks like REACT - a bonus
  • Experience with design systems and UI library integrations with AEM
  • Understanding of branching, merging, and pull request workflows to collaborate effectively with team members
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices for designing inclusive and accessible web experiences.
  • Experience in implementing accessible features such as semantic HTML, ARIA roles, and keyboard navigation
