Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA Backend Developer with strong expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP) and modern SAP development frameworks such as RAP, CDS Views, and OData services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable backend solutions in S/4HANA environments, supporting enterprise applications, and working closely with functional and integration teams.

Must Have Skills

• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA development
• Expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP)
• Hands-on experience with:
• CDS Views
• OData Services
• RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
• Experience with:
• BADI (Business Add-Ins)
• BAPI (Business APIs)
• RFC (Remote Function Calls)
• Strong understanding of SAP backend architecture and data models
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
• Excellent communication skills

Key Responsibilities

SAP Backend Development:

• Design, develop, and enhance backend solutions in SAP S/4HANA using OO ABAP
• Build and optimize CDS Views for reporting and data modeling
• Develop and maintain OData services for integration with front-end applications
• Implement modern development using RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)

Integrations & APIs

• Develop and support BAPIs, BADIs, and RFCs for system enhancements and integrations
• Work on interface development between SAP and external systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across systems

Solution Design & Optimization

• Collaborate with functional teams to understand requirements and design technical solutions
• Optimize performance of ABAP programs and database queries
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and coding standards.
